ACUA held he first “Symposium on Encouraging Chinese Community Youth to Participate in Politics” successfully

The American Chinese United Association hosted the first “Symposium on Encouraging Chinese Community Youth to Participate in Politics” on March 29 at the Chinese American Museum. This special meeting drew a large number of participants of the teen volunteers from the Southern Community such as Pennsylvania, New York, and Washington. 

The main goal of the  “Symposium on Encouraging Chinese Community Youth to Participate in Politics”  is to encourage the younger generation to recognize the existential crisis of Asian Chinese in America and encourage the young to work together to build a common ideology of Chinese interests.

During the meeting, ACUA‘s(American Chinese United Association) President, Jason Lam said, “We hope that we and the young generation continue to work hard to protect the Chinese community and self and work together to benefit society based on the existing U.S. platform.” As Jason Lam said, ACUA’s purpose has always been for the future development of the Chinese community in the United States, and of course, they do needs the help of the young generation to expand and to reach the goal of this meeting the goal of ACUA.
