ACUA: 2022 Rising Flag Ceremony

The American Chinese Museum hosted the Association of Chinese American Overseas Chinese’s “Flag Raising Ceremony and Museum Donation Ceremony” on January 1. More than 200 individuals attended the occasion, including Pennsylvania senators, city council members, business officials, and representatives of overseas Chinese organizations, to witness the donation ceremony and tour the museums.

At the event, Jason said that the museum would be a place to honor the Chinese ancestors of Chinese immigrants, a place to exchange culture and foster young Chinese participation in politics, and a place to introduce Chinese immigrants to American society.

The ceremony’s donation ceremony was its most significant component. The museum’s initial size should be a shared asset for Chinese Americans. It would be utilized forever as a museum for Chinese people, not fit for use or resale, according to a report from a recent meeting of the museum’s board of directors.
