US General Chamber of Commerce For Entrepreneurs of Hong Kong, Macau, and Guangdong held Establishment Ceremony

On September 9th, the U.S. General Chamber of Commerce for Entrepreneurs of Hong Kong, Macau, and Guangdong (The Big Bay Area) held its establishment ceremony at Saint Gabriel Valley, CA. Stephen Lam, the former Mayor of Monterey Park, was appointed as the Chamber’s first president. The General Chamber aims to rally up Chinese business leaders from the Big Bay Area, establishing a platform to collectively raise business competitiveness and conduct government affairs for open and fair commercial opportunities.

Jason Lam, the president of the American Chinese United Association, attended the ceremony, delivered congratulation on behalf of ACUA and its chapters, and recognized the General Chamber’s principle of promoting collaboration among Chinese American corporates and organizations. Mr. Lam also received President Stephen Lam’s $10,000 donation to American Chinese Museum.
