The ACUA hosts a BBQ party, rising flag ceremony for the celebration of Independence Day

The American Chinese Museum hosted the American Independence Day event on July 4th on behalf of the ACUA(American Chinese United Association).

Events include musicals, BBQ parties, flag-raising ceremonies, etc. More than 200 local political, corporate, and academic leaders, volunteer groups, international students, and multiethnic community members attended to celebrate the activity.

On July 4th, flags are often raised and barbecues are hosted across the nation. The conference not only observes tradition, but also hopes that the Chinese community, businesses, and others will participate in the flag-raising ceremony and that multiethnic residents and political representatives will be invited to attend to strengthen the integration and commitment of Chinese residents.
