Congressman Branden Boyle Visits ACUA , Panel Discuss with Young Chinese immigrants in PA

On Dec 20th, Congressman Branden Boyle from 2nd election district visits ACUA headquarter in America Chinese Museum.

During the visiting, ACUA President Jason Lam took Congressman and other officials a wonderful tour in the Museum , and see the exhibitions. Branden Boyle held panel discuss the development of the Chinese Community in Philadelphia.

美国是一个自由民主的国家。独立思考，言论自由是每个人受宪法保护的，不可被剥夺的权利。不同思想、观点、立场并存是人类社会的自然现象，也是必然的，健康的，正常的。不同的思想、观点会为人类提供解决问题的新思路，避免我们陷入僵化、保守的思维格局，具有推动社会进步和人类发展的积极意义。思想的多元化与文化和种族的多元化一样，是人文世界最精彩的组成部分，它反映了社会的进步与繁荣，也让人类互相尊重，共同发展。因此，美国政治中保护不同意见是首要的。这就是“护异”。
